At Somerset Center for Plastic Surgery, we want you to be comfortable. Our boutique style practice offers personalized patient care, designed to meet the individual needs of our patients.
Somerset Center for Plastic Surgery is the practice of Dr. Steven Stein. Dr. Stein has more than 30 years of experience and has performed more than 1,000 face lifts and neck lift procedures, along with eyelid surgery and fat grafting.
Dr. Stein takes a conservative approach believing that less is more.
Simply put, if you have a neck or face lift, you shouldn’t look “done.” Your friends should think you were on vacation, cut your hair or are using a new cosmetic.
When possible, we recommend not waiting too long to correct natural aging. Dr. Stein’s philosophy is: “procedures yield better results when the defects are mild to moderate.”
We have a diverse clientele, ranging from teens to baby boomers to mature seniors from throughout the metro Detroit area. Patients’ wish lists vary depending on age: Botox, facial fillers, breast augmentations, liposuction, and neck lifts.
Maintenance is key to looking your best and extending the results of any procedure.
We advise being careful about claims made by cosmetic surgeons. A “board certified cosmetic surgeon” is not a plastic surgeon. Being well informed is especially important when it comes to getting the results you’re looking for.
Dr. Stein is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgeons. He is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, Oakland County Medical Society, Michigan Academy of Plastic Surgeons, Michigan State Medical Society and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
A graduate of the University of Michigan Medical School, Dr. Stein completed his plastic surgery residency at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.
